Pershore is a sweet little town. Everything was within walking distance of the cottage. A great base to discover the surroundings
The only downside we encountered was the bed. The mattress was fine but for us a 1.40 meter bed was way too narrow and the bed frame squeaked and creaked terrible.
Always a pleasure
What a lovely way to visit Pershore, it is always a pleasure to stay in this fab barn conversion.
Nice property. Shame about the bed!
Pershore is a nice, vibrant little market town and a good base for exploring the Cotswolds. The barn conversion was well done and the property generally was pretty comfortable apart, sadly, from the bed. It’s an old creaky metal frame with a poor mattress and was probably the most uncomfortable bed that we’ve ever tried to sleep in. May I suggest upgrading to a king size with a good mattress? It’s bound to pay for itself with repeat bookings.
We've fixed the bed and got a new mattress.
Really quient barn conversion
Very well kept and well maintained holiday cottage, our only minor niggle was the uncomfortable mattress :-) however we enjoyed our stay very much.
A good accomodation
Amerie Barn is a well equipped little house, very clean, with a nice ambiente!
Over all, we enjoyed our 9 days. Allthough there was unusual hot weather over all our stay (25° to 30 °C) and the sleepingrooms are situated in the upper floor, there was not at all the expected heat in those rooms. Obviously the roof got a good isolation!
Only the fact, that there was only one common bedsheet and one common bedspread for both persons in the double bed, supplied my wife and me with some night-discussions about who's blanket-part would be less than an half. That might refer to english sleeping customs, but however it is something, we Germans are unfortunately not really used to.
A bit more than one big and one small towel each person would be recommendable for stays of more than a week. And a winebottle-opener would be fine!
Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay from first to last day and would like to thank our host for this nice accomodation. We can recommend it!
Finally I would like to mention Pershore as a wonderful small town, full of live (at least until 5 pm), full of friendly considerate persons. Pershore has got lots of different shops, good restaurants (opening at lunchtime and also after 5 pm) and an impressing abbey with a warm vibrancy and an interesting history. We loved it!
